Ethereum Name Service (ENS) Surges 17% in 24 Hours, Outperforming Top 100 Altcoins
The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) has emerged as one of the top performers in the top 100 altcoins, with a staggering 17% surge in the last 24 hours. This impressive performance has propelled the ENS token to a remarkable 29% gain over the past week.
The recent product update has contributed to the token's surge, as the ENS service has expanded to support multiple chains, including Bitcoin and Solana. This development has opened up new possibilities for ENS users, who can now connect their public keys across different networks.
The ENS token is currently trading at $26.57, just shy of its all-time high. If the token can break through the resistance zone between $27.42 and $28.94, a potential breakout to new all-time highs could occur.
The next significant resistance zone lies between $38.34 and $41.78, which could be reached if the token continues its upward momentum. The December 2021 low of $19.70 serves as a crucial support level, and a breach of this level could lead to a further decline to the $16.70 zone.
However, if the token can maintain its upward momentum and break through the $64.86 resistance level, it could potentially reach the November 2021 highs between $76.46 and $83.98.
On the flip side, if the token fails to break through the current resistance and declines, it could retest the December 2021 low of $19.70. A breach of this level could lead to a further decline to the $13.68 zone.
The ENS token's performance makes it an attractive beta play on Ethereum, particularly if one believes that the Ethereum price will benefit from the introduction of spot ETFs and ultimately rise.
