Yahweh: The Angry, Jealous God Child
A bit is Sunday School here so bear with me. Context. Context. Context. When examining Yahweh in the Old Testament, a pattern emerges of an angry, jealous deity using violence and fear to control His chosen people. This starkly contrasts with the loving God often depicted in modern fundamentalist beliefs. The Wrathful Actions of Yahweh 1. Jealous and Violent: • Jealousy: In Exodus 20:5, Yahweh warns of punishing children for their parents’ sins—a sign of a possessive, controlling figure. • Vi...

Trump is not Jesus...Repeat.
Since ya'll have gone full retard... Comparing Donald Trump’s legal woes to the trial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ is like comparing a circus sideshow to a symphony. It’s a grotesque misunderstanding of history and theology, a collision of sacred narrative and modern political theater. Jesus Christ, the revered Son of God for billions, endured a mockery of justice orchestrated by religious and political powers who saw his radical message of love and redemption as a threat to their iro...

Dodging Justice: The Political Puppetry Destroying Our Nation
Let's dive into the abyss, shall we? Trump's racked up 34 felony charges like they're vintage vinyls, all because he allegedly tossed hush money at Stormy Daniels to keep the ballots clean. Revolutionary? Hardly. Flashback to Bill Clinton, who dished out a cool $850,000 to Paula Jones while cozy in the Oval Office, dodging felony charges like Neo in The Matrix. What's the game here? Trump is the witch at the stake, facing the fire for possibly tilting the 2016 scales. Yet,...

Here’s the deal: Evangelical Christians who think Trump is God’s chosen one are cherry-picking Bible verses like it’s a damn dinette set. They conveniently ignore the parts that don’t fit their narrative. You know, like Paul saying to pray for all leaders because God put them there. So, guess what? If God put Trump in office, He also put Biden there. But you don’t see these folks sending any prayers Biden’s way, do you? Burn in hell prayers don’t count.
Let’s talk Romans 13:1-2 for a minute: “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” Simple, right? Apparently not, if you’re only reading the parts you like.
These Trump-loving evangelicals are the kings of selective reading. They’ll shout from the rooftops that Trump is God’s man, but when Biden took office? Crickets. If you believe God appointed Trump, you better believe He appointed Biden too. Otherwise, you’re just full of shit.
This kind of selective interpretation is a theological train wreck. Are we saying God only backs leaders we like? That makes God look like a cosmic flip-flopper. And it makes these so-called believers look like hypocrites.
This isn’t new, by the way. History’s full of people twisting religious texts to fit their political agendas. It’s a classic move. But that doesn’t make it any less bullshit.
The fallout? Divided churches, more political bullshit, and a bunch of people getting turned off from religion entirely. When the message is this inconsistent, it’s no wonder folks are walking away from the church in droves. It’s like watching a soap opera where none of the storylines make sense and the guy who says he is coming back never does.
If you’re going to “live according to the Bible” maybe cut the crap and read the Bible for what it says, not just the parts that make you feel good. If you’re gonna claim God put someone in power, be consistent. Pray for Biden just like you did for Trump. Or better yet, maybe keep your political views out of your theology altogether. Just a thought.
You know what? How about we just get rid of it altogether? You guys have had thousands and thousands of years to try to make it work, and all you’ve done is murder and pillage. Religion’s track record is a bloody mess. Maybe it’s time we stop using ancient texts to justify modern bullshit and start taking responsibility for our actions without hiding behind a holy book.
