The FLIX → FUN transformation was announced and started off in October 2025 with the release of the Transformation Portal, enabling FLIX holders (on OmniFlix Hub) to voluntarily transform their tokens into FUN through a clear onchain process.
Since launch, the portal has seen active participation, with a substantial amount of FLIX already transformed into FUN (100M+ FUN distributed till date) using the existing mechanism.
The process has remained stable, transparent, and fully opt-in since day one without any specific limits other than have safe guards & rails to curb any mishaps.
Transformation window opened on 22 October 2025
Original closing date was 22 December 2025
This timeline was communicated clearly from the start
With the unbonding or unstaking period being 21 days, it took time for those staking FLIX to transform their tokens on OmniFlix Hub to FUN on Base
Given the transformation window is closing during the year-end period, the transformation deadline is being extended to 20 January 2026.
This extension is intended to keep the process open and accessible while the ecosystem transitions into the next phase of FLIX.fun on Base.
This is the final extension. Please note that, there will be no further extensions unless in case of an unforeseen incident or an emergency.
The transformation remains fully opt-in
The same portal and workflow continue to be used
Conversion ratios remain unchanged, including the 20% bonus
No new supply is added, minted, or introduced
Vesting and team token transformations will be handled during this period.
A waiting period until 22 December 2025 was intentionally observed to avoid any premature token movements.
Most tokens in vesting will NOT be unstaked and will result in a direct drop of FUN tokens, fully verifiable onchain.
