Flix Fam, Here are all the updates from last week and the focus for this week, within the Flixverse! Although there aren’t as many updates as we normally have, we have quite a few engineering, design, partnership and community updates.
Without further ado, let’s dive in.
The team has been focused on the required planning for the year and more specifically the quarter considering the token launch and more.
It is important to assess the technical details periodically considering the pace of evolution and what’s possible right now.
This week’s updates to the StreamSwap development covers interactions with Sunny & the Osmosis team to catch up and discuss key points on the way forward.
The StreamSwap Protocol is pending audit before we can go ahead with a launch on testnet and mainnet.
The team was also focused on working on the media-tech required for the Cosmos Roundup that’s being planned with data from Osmosis, OmniFlix and Stargaze.
The application engineering team was also focused on establishing and re-assessing working relationships with existing partners and clients. The Standard Operating Procedures internally are changing a bit and the entire team is focused on continuing what works and eliminating what doesn’t.
The design team at OmniFlix have been working on updates pertaining to OmniFlix Studio and OmniFlix TV. These updates will be pushed for development in the next two weeks.
The design and media production team also were focused on producing the collateral required for the roundup.
Below are governance proposals that were voted on by the OmniFlix Network validator as a part of the operations while validating the below chains/networks.

To show our appreciation for the contribution and early support of our community in helping build the protocol, we have dropped FlixDrop NFTs to campaign participants who completed all tasks and activities in our Testnet series FlixNet - 2,3 & 4. These NFTs will be able to be burned for FLIX once the token goes live. We will provide more information on the claiming process in a future update after the token launch.

Fam, there was good progress last week and this week too it’ll be heads down building before we can get to further releases. The focus for this week across various teams are:
The one key aspect of focus this week is to finalize the details of CosmWasm contracts before kick starting operations on mainnet.
The other aspect of focus this week is to design the NFT Pools framework using CosmWasm for additional extensibility.
Continuing to work on the StreamSwap Protocol is a huge focus in the coming week along with updates to the OmniFlix suite of apps.
Discussions on various Partner Apps also have been underway and there will be more progress on the same as we speak.
The team is also getting ready for the release of the Akash EDU portal.
The focus is to complete the initial workflows for the OmniFlix TV & Studio apps and help users launch their own versions of publications or channels using OmniFlix TV.
Along with this there’s a focus on Partner apps that enrich the overall user experience of what’s possible with OmniFlix.
The focus is to be able to produce content that better explains what we are working on at OmniFlix. This is the weekly focus and you will have one or more video assets that’ll help one or more of our stakeholders every week.
