We're back with the 56th edition of our Community Update, ready to share the latest and greatest from the world of OmniFlix, Flixverse!

So, without further delay, let's explore the exciting highlights we have for you 👇

• The FlixDrop development progress has reached an exciting stage with successful testing on the devnet, while actively working on developing the indexers.

• Simultaneously, a user interface is being worked on for campaign creation within Studio and the campaign claiming experience on OmniFlix Market. This is now live on devnet and you can see screenshots below.

• The Interact to Claim module, which facilitates the claim of fungible tokens for swapping/holding/burning of an NFT, has been seamlessly integrated into the devnet user interface.

• The quick demonstration on the devnet showcases the Claim functionality in action. Here, upon hitting the Claim button, the NFT is burnt to claim FLIX tokens instantly.

• NOTE 1 - It's important to note that this demonstration represents only one aspect of the FlixDrop model (the burn-to-claim aspect), as the actual process will involve the delivery of tokens as a stream (delivered over a period of time) rather than instantly.

• NOTE 2 - Do NOT burn your NFTs as this has to happen in a specific process and burning in general will NOT let you claim tokens. Please await official information before you can try to claim your FlixDrop

• Updates to the StreamPay module, responsible for programmable payments, are actively being worked on.

• Stay tuned for more updates as the FlixDrop experience continues to evolve, offering unprecedented opportunities for creators and communities within the OmniFlix Network.

Kicking off the first Friday of every month, we'll be showcasing a broad spectrum of unique NFTs, turning OmniFlix into a digital treasure trove for all our users. So, get ready to embark on your collecting adventure and revel in the thrill of Flix Fridays!

Last week, we ran this campaign from Thursday, June 1st, 3pm UTC to Saturday 3rd June, 7am UTC (covering Friday for all time zones). A total of 79 collections were listed for Flix Fridays, getting more members from our community to explore and collect amazing artwork at $5 or less.

OmniFlix Network proudly joins the global community in commemorating Lou Gehrig's Day this June 2nd. Inspired by Gehrig's strength and resilience, we're honoring his legacy through our own campaign to contribute to ALS research, a cause Gehrig deeply championed.

Through this initiative, we aim to raise awareness, foster community strength, and ultimately, accelerate progress towards finding a cure for ALS.
