Eating your NFTs? Say no more
On August 26, the Web3 Travelers community organized the first dinner in Slovenia using non-fungible tokens as tickets. The 17-course dinner was sold out. Guests paid a total of 1 Ether for the 10 tickets (at the time of writing, that's just under €1,600). The event took place in a restaurant called EDEN in Žiri, Slovenia. As the name suggests, we enjoyed it in a paradise-like garden while the renowned chef Tadej Kržišnik and his team made sure that our culinary horizons were expanded. B...

NFT Workshop At The Biggest Scout Gathering In Slovenia
Do things that don’t scale. Last weekend we were invited to run an NFT & Web3 workshop for young scouts at the biggest scout gathering in Slovenia called Zlet. An offer we just couldn't refuse, as we think it's important for the younger generation to learn about Web3 from an educational perspective and not from TikTok/Youtube influencers who get paid to shill the projects. Aside from the two workshops we did, we spent two nights at their camp and got to know the Scout community as i...

Web3 Travelers Litepaper v1.0
INTROWe are building a community of Web3 travelers and builders. It seems that our society has undergone a tremendous change in the social and cultural environment in the last two years. The rapid adoption of NFTs set a domino effect that is impacting every industry in the world. And travel is no different. There are over 300 million people who own crypto assets (Triple A). Metamask - a popular Ethereum wallet - surpassed 30 million monthly active users and is growing rapidly from month to mo...

Living Learning Lab (LLL) Karst is a week-long adventure into the rural Slovenian environment with the intention that you:
Build lasting international friendships with other travelers and locals
Practice regenerative tourism by giving back your knowledge, time and energy - creating a positive impact on the destination
Get to know the dynamics of rural tourism and life on the periphery
using LLL as a personal development tool to try out new activities, skills, habits etc.
Have fun
The aim of the initiative is to create a regenerative travel ecosystem in each location that provides meaningful and positive experiences for both local communities and travelers.
View more details about the event here.
Travelers, apply through this form. If you’re a student, apply through this form.
In addition to the rebranding of our community from Web3 Travelers -> FromZero Travelers, we're starting the year with a new form of events where we'll strive to make even more impact in the visiting communities. This is your opportunity to travel, have meaningful experiences, connect with other impact-oriented travelers, and give back to the beautiful places you visit.

The LLL idea won the Hack Startup Village 2022 Hackathon organized by AgriFood Lithuania and funded by the European Commission
We have identified the village where the implementation of the LLL is possible (this includes the assessment of current challenges, resources and development potential)
We have established partnerships with relevant universities and educational institutions to recruit students to participate in the initiative
We have created an MVP website
Starting to build an interest list of travelers and students who would like to participate in the LLL pilot initiative through a survey
Achieve increased vibrancy (liveliness) and entrepreneurship in rural/peripheral villages
Enhance practical and project-based experiences for students, helping them to be better equipped for the future and improve their portfolios (resumes)
Increase cultural exchange and understanding between different communities
Achieve more responsible tourism contributing to sustainable development in rural/peripheral villages
Increased impact on the local community (social, environmental and economic)

Our great vision is to create a global community of highly like-minded people that independently organize such events around the world. The community will consist of different locations (like the one in Slovenia). The locations need to be located in peripheral (rural) regions and provide accommodation for travelers and students.
Five percent of the profits go to a local social project in the area to further develop the region.
The hosts at these locations organize activities, and local (transformative) experiences and once a week the guests of the node would engage in a ‘’give back’’ (volunteer) activity - helping the locals in the area. In these nodes, we would invite young people from local universities to stay there once a month for a week to mentor them and work together on projects.
Technically, such a community would be organized in the future using blockchain technology (DAO model) and decentralization principles. Within the organization, there would be gamification models that reward community members for supporting local providers.
Obtain feedback from participants and potential partners on the pilot project and identify possible areas for improvement
Evaluate the project in terms of its impact on local communities
Identify possibilities for replicating the LLL in other rural villages in Slovenia and abroad
Ready to apply? Travelers, apply through this form. If you’re a student, apply through this form.
Our intention is to create a diverse and inclusive group - for that reason, all applicants will be invited on a short video call.
