At about 2:30 p.m. local time on the 7th, an explosion occurred at a factory of Kobe iron and Steel Institute in takasha City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The explosion killed a man in his 50s and injured two others, who were taken to hospital for treatment. According to the local police and fire department, the machine handling iron powder may have exploded. At present, the police are investigating the accident.
