Every Halloween resource emissions will produce 50% less than the year before. Last year the halvening began with 50% of the emission rate being reduced from the base emission rate.
You can read about that here.
New emission rates:
UNO: 0.000125/hr
ENR: 0.1875/hr
MIN: 0.125/hr
MCH: 0.0625/hr
The slow down is to offset inflation and curb the amount that can be sold off.
We have been looking into Killswitch (read the previous blog post to learn more), wherein this mechanism will replace halvenings. Once Killswitch and works as intended, we will no longer have a need for Halvenings.
But this year, we’ll continue them as planned.
✅ Repair cost changed to UNO
All repair costs are now in UNO, meaning that ENR is no longer needed to repair units. As we work toward centralizing all Tezotopia-related transactions to UNO, the other resources will become obsolete. These in-game resources were far too many for a small user base, allowing for only one in-game asset should see an improvement in the usefulness of it.
✅ Damage/Repair turned off in direct battles
We have turned off Damage/Repair in direct battles. Direct battles will be solely linked to wagers and no extra repair cost penalties will apply. You only win or lose the UNO you bet.
✅ Classic Battle rewards in UNO, depending on total damage done on both sides
Classic battle rewards system has been altered. Now, the winner gets UNO in classic battle rewards. The amount of UNO rewarded depends on the total repair cost on both sides (which is based on the damage incurred during the battle on both sides).
So, assuming both the players repair their units, we are giving away 90% of that uno as reward.
This makes NFT-based Classic Battles high-risk/high-reward as the repair costs have significantly increased, but the prizes are equally valuable if you attain victory!
These changes have been pushed out and are now live on Mainnet Tezotopia.
