On August 15th, 2025, Nouns DAO Africa hosted a vibrant side event at ETH Enugu, bringing together builders, artists, and community members for an evening filled with art, music, and meaningful conversations around DAOs and onchain creativity.
Despite the day coinciding with Hackathon Demo Day, which meant many registered participants were delayed until after our close, we still had a solid turnout of 30 attendees, against 25 registrations. The room was buzzing with curiosity, laughter, and learning as we shared the vision of Nouns DAO Africa with the Enugu creative and builder ecosystem.

Fundraising & Budget Transparency
In true DAO spirit, the event was made possible through the generosity of our supporters:

Mike Good – $100
Swarthy – $100
Zaal– $10
💰 Total raised: $310
💰 Additional support received: 0.08 ETH ($338)
This brought total available funds to $648
Total spent: $625
To be refunded to the dao- $23
Expenses covered included:
Transportation (quite high in Enugu, especially for gallery visits, drinks delivery, and logistics)

-Refreshments
-Venue & media support

Event Flow
The evening officially kicked off at 5:00 PM WAT with, introductions, education, music and onboarding, as guests scanned QR codes on-screen to join our Discord/WhatsApp chat and follow socials.
