Infinite happiness to whoever is reading this. Before continuing, I must mention something important: my English is quite limited. Therefore, I will rely on artificial intelligence tools to translate this article. However, this doesn’t guarantee assertive communication, as true communication isn’t just about using the right words. Assertive communication involves understanding the sender’s perspective, grasping where the message comes from, which helps us better interpret what is being conveyed.
That said, let me introduce myself. In the Web3 world, I’m known as thefinalfrontier. I chose this alias because it captures the essence of exploring the unknown, of pushing beyond limits. If you prefer a more conventional name, you could call me 0xf919b074ADAaCff8BB52fA86dA391Efb5E908E08. In a world governed by numbers, I feel my identity is best represented by my wallet address. Still, if you believe our given names define who we are, I’m sure you’ll find one for me around the corner.
I was born in Colombia, one of the most biodiverse countries in the world per square meter. I was fortunate to grow up in a magical place: Salento, Quindío, known for producing some of the best coffee in the world. I dedicate myself to creating the change I want to see in the world. I am an electronic engineer by profession, specialized in process control. This, combined with my passion for nature, drives me in an endless quest to build fair and sustainable cities. My life has always been surrounded by mountains, animals, and most importantly, loved ones. They are, without a doubt, my greatest treasures.
However, today I want to talk about other treasures—those that hold a special place in my memory: the treasures of infinity.
The First Treasure: Devcon 6 and the Chiva
It all began at Devcon 6, held in Bogotá in 2022—an event that marked a turning point in my life. I am part of the Ethereum Colombia community, dedicated to promoting Ethereum’s values in our country. Alongside friends, I lead the Ethereum Eje Cafetero node in the region where I live.
That year, the excitement was immense. Devcon, one of the most important blockchain development events, was coming to my country. I’ve always seen this technology as a powerful tool for building a more equitable and sustainable future, so the idea of having the minds behind this technological revolution in Colombia filled me with enthusiasm.
I wanted to make the most of this unique opportunity. Together with the Ethereum Colombia community, we proposed on the Devcon forum to bring a chiva, a traditional Colombian vehicle, as a symbol of cultural exchange. The proposal gained so much traction that it became the Community Hub for LATAM, a unique space that connected all Ethereum communities in Latin America and allowed us to share our cultures with the world.
From this experience, my first treasure was born: the Ethereum LATAM logo, symbolizing teamwork to build a better future. However, beyond objects, the greatest wealth I gained from Devcon 6 was meeting extraordinary people who share the same goal.
The Second Treasure: Devcon 7 and the Torch
Two years later, a new opportunity arose with Devcon 7, this time in Southeast Asia, in Thailand. Thousands of kilometers from home, the event represented a new challenge and an opportunity to continue connecting with people who, like me, strive to be the change they want to see in the world.
I knew it would be difficult to make this journey from Colombia, but once again, I turned to the Devcon forum, a space where the noblest ideas come to life. Together with Ethereum Colombia, we proposed bringing a torch symbolizing Ethereum’s values. The idea was to perform a ritual in which Colombia, as the previous host, would pass the torch to Southeast Asian communities.
This ritual, beyond being a symbolic act, represented the collective effort of global communities to continue working toward a better future. Although I couldn’t travel to Thailand, the torch, thanks to the incredible work of a committed team, became an unforgettable memory

The Infinite Garden of Ethereum Eje Cafetero
Today, the torch has returned home and is part of the Infinite Garden of Ethereum Eje Cafetero, a space that not only holds treasures but also aims to build a better future. This place reflects the vision of a more connected, equitable, and sustainable world, where communities work together to overcome global challenges.
The treasures of infinity aren’t material things; they are the connections, lessons, and experiences that transform us. From the Ethereum LATAM logo to the torch that unites continents, each of these treasures reminds me that when we work together, we can achieve the unimaginable.
I hope that by reading this, you find inspiration to discover your own treasures of infinity. Because they are there, in every step, in every connection, waiting to be found.
Excelente iniciativa! Vamos con toda desde el jardin infinito de Colombia
