Run a Sui Full node
Sui Full nodes validate blockchain activities, including transactions, checkpoints, and epoch changes. Each Full node stores and services the queries for the blockchain state and history. This role enables validators to focus on servicing and processing transactions. When a validator commits a new set of transactions (or a block of transactions), the validator pushes that block to all connected Full nodes that then service the queries from clients.FeaturesSui Full nodes:Track and verify the s...

In part 1, we will explore Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker and Traditional AMM models in detail, looking into liquidity provision, token swap and fee generation & ROI. Welcome back to the second installment of our HoustonSwap Weekly series! Since we briefly introduced the core concepts of the Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker model last week, we want to dive deeper into the mechanism and practical applications of the Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker model, and explain how it differs ...

With “$24.9 billion worth of NFTs sold in 2021, compared to just $94.9 million the year before” (Reuters) it’s fair to say that NFTs are here to stay. For developers, this is great news, because it opens up opportunities to build and monetize NFT-related services. Yet across the NFT landscape, devs encounter many pitfalls: insecure smart contract languages, expensive fees to mint or transfer NFTs, slow networks, and steep learning curves, to name a few. In this walkthrough, we’ll bootstrap th...

Last week, approximately 10,000 users participated in Softernet Round #5 on Optimism’s Goerli network. This brings the total number of participants across all Softernet Rounds to approximately 20,000 users!
Now, we’re building on this momentum.
This Friday, we’re launching Softernet Round #6 on Celo’s Alfajores Testnet!
Celo is a proof-of-stake, EVM-compatible, and interoperable L1 blockchain network with low fees and mobile phone mapping. The mission is to “build a financial system that creates the conditions for prosperity — for everyone.” Learn more at https://celo.org.
Tokensoft has deployed smart contracts on Celo’s Alfajores network for a Tokensoft Power Points testnet sale. Here’s how to participate:
#1 — Add Celo Alfajores Testnet to Wallet
Add the Celo Alfajores Testnet Remote Procedure Call (RPC) to your MetaMask by going to https://chainlist.org/chain/44787 and clicking Connect-Wallet:
Use Chainlist to add the Celo Alfajores testnet network to your MetaMask wallet. If you prefer to add manually, please see Celo’s detailed documentation.
After you click Connect-Wallet, you’ll be asked to confirm adding the network to your MetaMask wallet. Click Approve.
#2 — Acquire Celo Alfajores testnet tokens
These are testnet tokens (i.e., fake CELO or other) that you’ll use to participate in the testnet sale. Here are two ways to get testnet tokens:
Official Celo Foundation Faucet**: **this is the recommended & official way to obtain CELO tokens on the Alfajores Testnet. NOTE: this faucet is sometimes empty.
Triangle Faucet: simple enter your Celo wallet address and click Request 0.1 CELO to receive testnet tokens. NOTE: we didn’t see this faucet linked anywhere in Celo’s official documentation and can’t vouch for Triangle. However, we’ve used this faucet without issues and currently don’t have any reason for concern.
Enter your Celo Alfajores testnet address and click Get Started in the Celo testnet faucet site to acquire testnet tokens. Direct link to the faucet is https://celo.org/developers/faucet
#4 — Connect Your Wallet
Make sure your MetaMask wallet is on the Celo Alfajores network.
After ensuring that your wallet is set to the Celo Alfajores network, connect your wallet to the Tokensoft testnet platform at https://app.stagetokensoft.com/account?referral_code=softernet-round-6.
IMPORTANT:* make sure to use the wallet address you’ve already registered or plan to register with Tokensoft’s mainnet platform via identity verification. *You cannot register more than one wallet address with Tokensoft.
Connect your wallet at https://app.stagetokensoft.com/account?referral_code=softernet-round-6 to participate!
#5 — Complete the Softernet Round #6 Feedback Form as You Participate
The testnet sale is scheduled to go live at 16:00 UTC on Friday, 02 December, 2022. At launch, click on the Softernet Round #6 sale tile and complete the Softernet Round #6 Feedback form as you participate using your Celo testnet tokens. Please note the following:
The Softernet Round #6 — Celo Feedback Form is required: this form will be linked in the Softernet Round #6 documents and completion may be required for eligibility to claim your Tokensoft Power Points tokens later.
**The round will end when the testnet sale cap is reached or 24 hours passes: **arrive in a timely fashion to make sure you can participate!
**Registration: **you do not need to complete wallet registration in Tokensoft’s staging platform. **However, the wallet you use for this sale must be the one you’ve registered or will later register with Tokensoft’s main platform for valid participation.**
We will follow-up after Softernet Round #6 with instructions for claiming related the testnet tokens you purchased later.
