Now it is time to come back into it, Why I am moving, What my goals are and why I'm moving back to Florida?! Why I'm describing this as one Hell Of A Move.
If memory serves me right around July, I was staying over at my friend's place to take care of a Golden Doddle which I agree to take care of Puerto Rican Family Dog. (which is a story for another time). In the Short Story, the dog was a hell terror mutt to care of.
There are so many questions and answers things to go through to simply begin, One year ago. I didn't think this was gonna be the move I wanted to go through, I had always disliked the environment, the traffic, and the people in South Florida. I never liked the extreme temperatures nor the crazy nightlife atmosphere, true that's the place I grew up by the time I was 3 and live through the time I was 13. Never like the environment then nor do I like it now. There was a lot to be said about growing up as a 90s kid in Florida. As a young child, I didn't know any better what it was to be in the cold than what it was to travel to another place. I felt suck how people in my inner circle treated me I know I wasn't going to be a child forever. I know there was so much more to explore than Miami, and I was ready to move on.
Coming back to Florida wasn't the easiest to make but I had to make it, I am ready to come back to Florida, To name three things, opportunities, Family, and Tech. The Tech scene is booming now in central and south Florida, My heart told me it was time to go where the opportunity lays ahead, logically I was better suited in Florida I know that Atlanta wasn't going to change and things continued to stay the same old - same old nonsense and bullshit that's been going on for decades with what's been happening the city of Atlanta, Don't get me wrong you have Delta Airlines, UPS, Coca-Cola and many other sectors in Atlanta. I don't care. I wasn't interested in staying long-term. Funny how many people make it seem how Atlanta, Georgia seems so bright & wonderful how this is,... Disagree with that nonsense! It is a disaster! If you're the tech-oriented guy I'll have to break this news, Atlanta is not the place for you for IT folks, This isn't something I recommended, This city would have had the potential to grow an IT hub. So, instead of complaining like the rest of the Atlantian natives that have grown up most of their lives. I was just fed up! The job sector doesn't pay well I wanted to go somewhere that pays that does. That's many reasons I'm ready to start a new life.
The move is sure a Hell of a Move, one thing I tell you forward is that I am serious with this move. One thing when it comes to moving is that you can not rely on people to help you out with moving Someone I can mention is a long friend and I'm living in his place, while I am grateful for living in his place for a short time here, not staying a long time which will be the worst thing mentality. I am happy I had some help, I remember the friend, Rick that had to help me a couple times, and I remember that I had to get things back and fore between the house and storage unit.
Even dough I knew Rick for 11 years he has helped a few times but now things in any situations that I needed help. Two weeks ago, it just as seems he doesn't give a dam about helping me out, I had to get most of the things out on my own and continue because I wasn't going to waste more time. The time I move to Rick I'll have to disconnect Rick for good as a good friend as we were the past 11 years, It is time to break ties with him due to changes in our friendship. Thankfully over the weekend long-time friend I have known for close to 15 years did take the time to help me for a bit before I had to work (I had to cut the moving process due to time and logistical reasons)
Was this move hell for me? A: Yes Was this well worth it? A: Yes This is how I see it, The more I stay in Georgia more I'll end up comfortable enough not to leave which ends up worst not exploring different options in life. The plans were set in stone last year and not going to change my mind after all this planning. I know this blog was more of a lengthy one. That's one of the reasons I didn't get to blog, stream, post, or share things because I was busy with work and trying to save enough as I can. Thanks for reading today's blog. this post was a long time coming I wanted to share my experience.
