For the recent events happening with the scrutiny of Google's YouTube algorithm.  One's question will people continue to use the platform or,  jump ship to another platform elsewhere, are there any other choices?

I will tell you, ...There IS another choice not to use mainly solely on YouTube.  On my list, I will name a few of my top listing of alternative video platforms you can use.

1. LBRY.tv

        Starting off the list is LBRY I've been using it one a daily basis.  One of the great things with LBRY isn't just for videos but LBRY on its own is a library of content that's decentralized and anyone can use this open-source code and open for everyone to experiment.  If you are a developer anyone can help up improve LBRY's source code.  HD Video is one of the best!,  The clarity is top-notch 1080p!  When comparing LBRY's competitor YouTube which I do see the difference when you compare the framerate side-by-side comparison, You do not see the loss of encoding through LBRY's video display plus adding in, you do earn incentives when uploading videos, or watching someone else's videos.   You do earn about 2 LBCs per day.  LBC is what LBRY's Currency that you can spend within LBRY's eco-system to tip video content creator or pay for premium content. Overall Thoughts:  While I see LBRY take over to YouTube so the potential is there  LBRY is however its early stages.  The  LBRY Team has worked both web and mobile to make the service robust, easy for everyone to use, by all means, far from perfect.  I do encourage everyone to use LBRY and give it a try, easy to transfer all your videos from your YouTube account.   So far I've been very happy with it.
