Today The United States banned TikTok within less than 24 hours.
Around 1:50-2:11pm, I was coming back to recover data from the TikTok post I did last year. Now the TikTok US server is back up and running and this begins more questions on how much of the truth we are TikTok data mines user data, and why things on the world on social media have just gotten interestingly insane. First, What was the reason the United States decided to ban TikTok? More or less whatever you think about this TikTok Ban, If the United States wants to respect free speech and expression. The United States has considered banning TikTok at various times due to concerns primarily surrounding national security, data privacy, and influence over public discourse. The primary issues raised include:
Data Privacy and Security Risks: TikTok is owned by the Chinese company ByteDance, which has raised concerns about the potential for user data to be accessed by the Chinese government under China's strict data-sharing laws. Critics worry that TikTok could share sensitive information about U.S. citizens with Chinese authorities.
Propaganda and Misinformation: There are fears that the Chinese government could use TikTok to spread propaganda or manipulate the platform’s algorithms to influence political discourse and elections in the United States.
Influence on Minors: Lawmakers have also expressed concerns about TikTok's content moderation practices and its effects on children, including exposure to harmful content and addictive usage patterns.
Trump's administration around 2020
During Donald Trump's administration while it did start with Donald Trump while in office, the Democrats under the Biden administration continued to roll through the TikTok Ban. Tomorrow will determine Trump's first day back in office as the 47th President of the United States, and what will happen to the digital economy of TikTok?

Promised to store U.S. data in the country with Project Texas, which involves partnering with Oracle to safeguard data.
Claimed it operates independently of the Chinese government.

The United States Overstepped its Reach on the TikTok Ban?
If you asked me then I would say the United States has banned a platform that has given people the freedom of creativity and expression, TikTok isn't just about dance videos recently TikTok has released the TikTok Shop where anyone can shop through TikTok, while I do not personally shop through TikTok, many would like to continue using TikTok. I do think this ban has gone too far, this is coming from the so call "Land of The Free" Ironically this is more about censorship than this is about protecting American citizens. I think the American Government has lost creditability!, as I've searched the Play Store TikTok App is still off the Play Store. If you look over at the majority of U.S. Politicians they have stocks of Meta Stock which is a public company, while if you look at TikTok, it's a private company which tells you the U.S. does not want competition!
