Tatsumeeko is a multi-chain Metaverse MMORPG starting from the Solana and Ethereum blockchains. Built on the famous Discord game app Tatsu.GG, Tatsumeeko aims to leverage the synergy between gaming and socializing and expand to other platforms such as Telegram, iOS, Discord and the Web. iOS, Discord and Web.

Project Highlights
Tatsumeeko is a multi-chain MMORPG (starting with Solana and Ethereum) based on the Tatsu.GG game bots in Discord, integrating 1.44 million Discord communities and 62 million users. Tatsumeeko offers a combination of casual, adventure and MMO gameplay through automated PvE/PvP battles and social activities.
Tatsumeeko uses a dual token economy, a governance token $MKLN and a utility token $IGS. Tatsu encourages long-term participants to reinvest the $IGS utility tokens they earn in various utilities and benefits. The $MKLN utility is currently limited to governance activities only, and we will see if more use cases are added.
Tatsumeeko proof of concept reached 62K MAU, over 4.7 million virtual goods transactions, generating over 369,000 USD in microtransactions.
The Tatsumeeko team consists of David Lim (CEO), Benson Chua (CTO), and other virtual community building veterans who have already had great success with Tatsu.GG.
The public casting of Meekolony Genesis NFT took place on December 24, 2021 and sold out on Magic Eden and OpenSea in 9 minutes at a return of approximately 3.8x (as of May 13, 2022) (initial price: $0.50).
Using Tatsu.GG's existing user base, Tatsumeeko has incorporated popular Discord communities such as PewDiePie, Davie504, Moistcr1tikal, Mobile Legends, Team Liquid, and fans of Kanye West, Ariana Grande, and Hololive Fan Server's fan club.
In an increasingly crowded GameFi environment, Tatsumeeko provides a breath of fresh air by focusing exclusively on the social capabilities of the Discord server. With the support of a veteran team and a built-in fan base from Tatsu.GG, Tatsumeeko has all the potential to become a highly influential GameFi project and community building platform for other organizations by removing the incentive pressure to attract users.

Gameplay
Users can join the community to play Tatsumeeko for free and receive multiple rewards for their time and effort.
While the technical gameplay mechanics are still largely limited to text commands in Discord, Tatsumeeko pursues mass adoption through social engagement and diverse gameplay features to serve four types of players: achievers, explorers, killers, and socializers.
1)Multi-level role system

In Tatsumeeko, players interact with the world of Ielia through eight different character types in a multi-professional system, including Squire, Warrior, Cleric, Acolyte, Archer, Recruit, Magician, and Thief.
By allowing players to switch between character types, Tatsumeeko requires some critical strategy and teamwork to select the character that best fits each situation. This makes gameplay more collaborative and entertaining, and avoids click-and-earn scenarios.
2) Game Mode Despite the pixelated graphics and idle RPG format, Tatsumeeko shows that it may have a deeper lore than most blockchain games on the market. But the variety and social gameplay options are where Tatsumeeko really shines.
Tatsumeeko's in-game activities are divided into three main categories.
① Adventure:
Exploration / Main Quest / Side Quest
② Battles (automatic battles, based on player stats only):
Battles / Dimensional Invasion / Dungeons / PvP Ladder Tournaments
③ Social activities:
Achievements / Exploration logs / Monster cards / Mini-games / Resource collection and creation / Character customization

Players can enjoy a social metaverse experience that offers exploration, team battles, and more casual social features including character customization, farming, fishing, crafting, and other mini-games - all of which can be played in their respective community's Discord servers (called dimensions). However, it remains to be seen how effectively Tatsumeeko will integrate all these activities into Discord, which currently relies on typing commands.

In summary, Tatsumeeko offers a mix of casual, adventure and MMO games, ranking third, fourth and tenth in the U.S. game genre preferences for 2021 (Statista). This helps them target a diverse range of players, and they have a number of additional initiatives to expand their impressive 62 million user base, including:
Open access to all players with no upfront cost
Incentive program for community owners to join as members
Cloud-based engine and cross-platform infrastructure that makes Tatsumeeko available on other devices and applications
Progress-based learning
Guiding system that provides training for novice professional gamers The user experience is a key focus for Tatsumeeko. They have developed a range of additional features including marketplaces, land systems, device rentals and gaming DAOs for third party operators to create, trade and rent token devices.

3) Tatsumeeko Home and Land System
Homes and land are the foundation of Tatsumeeko's social and virtual governance system.
Homeowners can participate in the governance and profitability of their district and share power with medallion (badge) holders who contribute to the soundness of the district. This distributes power between owners and citizens, thus enabling a more equitable and democratic system.
District lands are allocated to all stakeholders for ownership and cultivation, but require constant attention and participation to maintain their resource assets. The Adventurer's Guild and Exhibition is a function of promoting guild affiliation and enhancing the guild's ownership dimension through member cooperation, access to top dungeons, and providing venues for events. Compared to other existing Guild systems in the market, these are unique features that directly address the generation of pro-social values within and between communities.
The game economy Tatsumeeko has a dual token economy, which includes the governance token $MKLN and the utility token $IGS.

The utility of $MKLN is primarily attributed to in-game governance attributes. By pledging $MKLN, users can earn pledge rewards and be able to vote on proposed features and events. As the game evolves, additional utilities should be added to help offset the potential selling pressure from the betting bonus.
The utility of $IGS is kept in line with the upgrade mechanism, which gradually increases the number of use cases and $IGS required for each upgrade. Ideally, over time, the player's motivation will shift from reward to self-fulfillment and socialization, and the token reward will put less pressure on the in-game cash flow.

In go-to-market strategy, Tatsumeeko uses:
Twitter is primarily used for product updates and user interaction without spamming or overcharging. Product updates align with further updates on social life and life events around Tatsumeeko's offices, which help create social connections among the development team and followers.
Discord remains Tatsumeeko's most popular channel for posting information and interacting with the community, and serves as a social hub for community members, with sophisticated Metaverse social features and a conduit for everyday activities.
Additionally, Tatsumeeko has been integrated into popular Discord communities such as PewDiePie, Davie504, Moistcr1tikal, Mobile Legends, Team Liquid, and fan clubs for Kanye West, Ariana Grande, and Hololive Fan Server.
