On February 2, 2022, Bacon Protocol launched our Liquidity Provider (LP) Rewards Program on Uniswap and Sushiswap. Both pools are live and currently distributing BACON rewards and fees to pool liquidity providers.

Bacon Protocol continues to innovate in the mortgage industry - offering users the opportunity to invest in mortgage income while building out the infrastructure needed to democratize access to this investment vehicle. We are doing this by expanding access to our governance token $BACON across multiple platforms and ensuring that sufficient liquidity is available to users.
We are very excited to get cookin’ and incentivize a deeper liquidity pool!
$BACON LP Rewards Program
Our LP Rewards Program will be conducted with the following metrics:
Timeframe: The BACON LP Rewards Program began on February 2nd, 2022, and will end on February 1st, 2023.
Rewards: A total of 10,000,000 $BACON is reserved for LP rewards to be distributed over the course of 12 months. 192,308 $BACON will be distributed each week throughout the year.
Distribution Metrics: Rewards will be distributed to users at every block, based on the value staked relative to the total value in the respective pool (USDC-BACON or BACON-ETH).
Rewards Split: The distribution of the ~192K weekly $BACON will be split proportionally between Uniswap and SushiSwap based on relative trading volume. For example, during the week of 3/21-3/27; 155,203 of the weekly 192,308 ($39,344.78) in BACON rewards (~80%) will be given to the SushiSwap pool offering 430.76% APY. The remaining 37,104 ($9406.11) in BACON rewards (~20%) will be distributed to the Uniswap pool offering 260.51% APY.
Rewards Claims: LPs may claim their rewards at any time.
