Hoxna, the synthetic reality project from the TerraEarth Foundation, is ready to fight for users’ rights to safety and privacy. It uses the Solana blockchain platform, which is based on PoS (Proof of Stake). PoS is inherently secure and Solana is completely decentralised, preventing data from being stored in one place (with the ownership and security issues that such a strategy invites).

More generally, blockchain is an architecture for building databases that, in addition to storing information, can serve as a source of “truth”. This gives confidence that the information in the system is genuine and cannot be changed without the consent of all interested parties, which reduces the possibility of unwanted and unchecked actions.

We monitor the forthcoming EU initiatives such as the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the Digital Markets Act (DMA).
