"We are HydroNet, and our solution is the Pocket-Hydro (Micro-Node). This small, solar-powered device harnesses DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) technology to enable real-time, global monitoring of the world's waters.
The Pocket-Hydro doesn't just measure key parameters (Temperature and Conductivity); it instantly sends the collected data via LoRa/BLE, cryptographically verified, directly to the blockchain. This decentralized approach ensures that the data remains tamper-proof and uncensorable."
We are excited to announce that the Pocket-Hydro (Micro-Node) project has successfully completed the prototype design phase!
Fully Integrated Design: We have finalized the integration of the ultra-low power hardware (ESP32) with the T (Temperature) and EC (Conductivity) sensors.
Waterproof Casing: The design features an IP68-rated, UV-resistant enclosure, ready for deployment in freshwater environments.
DePIN Ready: The communication module (BLE/LoRa) is integrated, ensuring the instant, uncensorable transmission of cryptographically signed data to the Blockchain Data Gateway. (See our attached video for the visualization!)
We are in negotiations with a manufacturer!
The Pocket-Hydro design is production-ready. However, we urgently need critical funding to place the order for the first batch of 500 units (essential for testing and launching the first community nodes).
Your donation will fund the following:
Tooling and Molds: Initiating the production of the durable, IP68-rated casing.
Component Sourcing: Purchasing microcontrollers, sensors, and solar panels in bulk for cost efficiency.
Field Testing: Deploying the initial units in critical European watershed areas for final calibration.
