Bifrost is poised to solve the interoperability problem between blockchains,it’s built using substrate, the technology behind Polkadot and it ecosystem of parachains. It’s also EVM compatible,so no issues with developer onboarding etc.
The network is designed in a way that it supports two node architecture,a validator may choose either to operate a full node or a basic node.
Basic nodes : They are simple nodes, they are involved in the process of forging or producing blocks, they also acts as archival nodes for the network.
Full nodes : They do everything “basic nodes” do but with a little extra. They run “relayers” that help with parsing messages across various chains that Bifrost is connected to. They watch these chains inorder to listen to cross-chain events, also they help in facilitating cross chain transactions. They are provide oracle data(price feeds)
The main product of Bifrost is Interoperability between blockchains,to do that it uses “Remote Blockchain Call” (RBC) protocol to communicate. Communication is made possible with relayers and socket contracts.
Relayers : Their function is simple, they relay or parse messages from a chain that Bifrost supports to another chain,to do so,they sign and validate with their private keys interchain communication .
Socket contracts : They take the role of consenus coordinator among relayers, all supported chains on Bifrost must support them. Nothing is deemed valid except is based on the signature of the relayers as made in the socket contract.
The EVM is king among virtual machines today,Bifrost will be 100% EVM compatible meaning it will support solidity based contracts(no need to learn a new language) and by been compatible developer onboarding is sure as these developers will have all tooling and supports around the EVM.

It is built using Substrate SDK, it utilizes onchain governance system. The governance structure within Bifrost is structured into three groups : The Referendum chamber, The Council and The Technical committee.

Bifrost Network : An EVM compatible blockchain that developers can build multichain dapps on.
Biport : A multiichain wallet, users can send, receive assets with across multiple blockchains.
Bmall : A multichain NFT marketplace where users can buy or sell NFTs
ChainRunnerQ : An automated Defi aggregator service where users can execute complex Defi strategies all from one screen.
**Others **: Others include BiFi( a multichain Defi platform that supports lending, borrowing, staking ,liquidity pools etc), BiFi X( a service that supports flash loans), Owly( a platform that supports leverage trading).
