Life is indeed great as a multi sig signer, (or a multi signatory for the cultured of us). You get to have a say in what compensation gets to be approved, and sometimes, you get airdrops! We love airdrops! You can feel that special twinkle of joy in your spirit when you’re voted in as a multi sig, or chosen, or volunteered.
Of course, being a multi signatory comes with its own pains, struggles, and annoyances. I’ve gathered a few tips based on my own failures as a multi signatory, and maybe, this might help you make your life the sweet joy of multi-signerness that have come to expect. Lets begin.
Discord notifications are awful. We know they’re awful, and if you’re like me, you’re more than likely to miss 75% of them because you’ve opted to a good nights sleep instead of productivity. (A good nights sleep is productive, don’t let any crypto bro tell you otherwise).
Sometimes, you’re going to see notifications that are something along the lines of “hey fren, confirm your transaction please!”
I have come to find out (and yes i probably should have known) that gas fees can make or break a transaction. Gas fees can also change at any given moment in time. A delayed transaction (as I’ve suffered plenty of times over the last month) will cause more problems than they’re worth.
I’ve suffered quite a few rejections of transactions due to the gas limits changing and getting out of whack after starting a transaction. Having singers pay attention to their notifications, and signing if they are free, almost always can solve issues leading to transactions needing to be rejected.

There are more apps available than Parcel. Most people assume that Gnosis only works for paying out contributors during remuneration time, and for not much else.
The types of apps that work for gnosis are interesting. From apps that can drain your wallet, to apps that can set up recurring payments for contributors, there are more options to explore when it comes to Gnosis-Safe compatible apps. There are even apps that can help you with swapping tokens around.
As long as you keep tip #1 in mind, its important to check out the different types of apps that are available that have Gnosis-Safe compatibility. Try some swaps (with guidance from your fellow contributors of course) try some invoicing apps, and more. If you do not see an app that is readily available, use the wallet connect app.
Most importantly, realize there’s more to the Gnosis-Safe than remuneration occurring monthly. It’s almost exciting to investigate.

Be strong, young grasshopper, if you need to get the transaction completed, then you need to get the transaction completed. Reach out to your fellow multi sig signers to get things moving along.
Hopefully platforms such as Den, and others, can help with notifications to take the work off of my back with bothering people. There can be more time spent testing projects, right?
Having gnosis-safe available on mobile (excuse me, on iPhone) is a convenience, but not always functionable. If you run into an issue with using gnosis on your phone, try using your computer before giving up. Sometimes, the simple answer, is the best one.
For Test DAO, I somehow inadvertently added a mysterious unknown wallet address to the multi sig. For days, I couldn’t figure out who this person was. Clearly an unsafe move, it would have been a better move to figure out the names of who happens to be on the multi sig before I started completing transactions.
You can do the same when importing your safe. Unless you have an ability to memorize numbers (and some people do), its always a pain when you come across multiple safes and you have no idea which safe belongs where?
Your life can be made so much easier by simply naming your safe. We all need things to be as simple as possible when dealing with paying people, right?

This is not a definitive list of gnosis tips. Whatever tips you have for gnosis management will be more than welcome to have a place on this list. Please let us know if you have any more tips! The story doesn’t end here, its only just begun!
