cudos may have recently been onboarded to Sound with their own solo releases, but they are no strangers to collaborating with artists in this community, dating back to a collab with Daniel Allan in a pre-Music NFT world in 2020.
The duo comprises Dan and Alex, who are best friends from a small town in upstate New York and are part of a 6 person boyband called WABANSIA.
According to cudos, “impulsive" was an idea that took over a year to fully develop.
“It took on a total of 6 different versions until we settled on the one we liked most. It initially started out as the first verse & hook that you hear with the guitar. Then we spent the next 12 months sitting on the record & playing around with production elements until we landed on the writing & production we liked.”
After being onboarded to Sound last month, cudos have hit the ground running and show no signs of slowing down.
