The LA-based multi-instrumentalist, writer, producer, DJ, and synthesizer queen Eva Myra Day returns with a hypnotic track that will make you travel through time and space.
Written on the magnificent Korg Delta paraphonic analog synth and ran through a ducking pedal called 'The Pill', Tooka wakes you up as soon as you hit play.
"I like producing tracks where I do a lot of the setup on synths and sequencers and then record the performances. For this particular track, it was a one-take performance that I then re-tracked a top line onto, and the last, some white noise swells", Eva says.

Eva is an incredible musician, covering any style she wants, easily going from ambient to house or deconstructed, to name a few, all while being a sound synthesis designer and vicious DJ.
"My focus lately has been designing and carving new sounds from my analog gear and translating them to minimal house-inspired songs for my DJ sets. Keeping the sounds focused and minimal allows me to mix in vocals very easily", says Eva.
You can see her perform regularly across LA in venues such as Zebulon, The Peppermint Club, and Queerspace, and she is the resident DJ at Jolene, held monthly at Precinct in DTLA.

Eva's songs perfectly blend sonic experimentation with music you'll want to dance to at your favorite underground rave.
She's an active member of the web3 music community, has been consistently dropping music on Sound, and is featured on heds TAPE 08.
She's a multidisciplinary artist with a holistic approach, covering everything from composing to producing and even designing the artwork for her songs.
We love genre-bending sonic explorers and are excited to support her work.
