Invest in Music has championed the development of Optimism since its launch on Sound in June.

We published educational content like the Optimism Starter Pack.

We covered Optimism’s vision, grants, and retroactive funding in our podcast with Binji from OP Labs.

Most recently, we published the OP Retro Funding Cheat Sheet to help artists and creators get rewarded for their contributions to Optimism.

We aim to empower artists to find new ways to build a dedicated fanbase and monetize their music.

Our goal is to tell the stories of leading creators, fans, and builders to help highlight the history of onchain music and cement the culture that makes it special.

We onboarded our audience to the Optimism Collective through our newsletter, podcast, and posts on X.

Our blog posts and podcasts were collected on Optimism via Mirror and Spinamp, First Mate, and Collect Pods.

We’re the only media outlet in onchain music that created Optimism content consistently. We helped artists navigate the L2 space, guiding them through the grant and retro applications.

Invest in Music is one of the top drivers of mints to music on Optimism - we referred more than 200 mints across 76 unique songs.

We’re the 5th largest curator on Sound.

We launched an Onchain Curator program - giving our community 1000 OP per month for driving mints, volume, artists, and content to Optimism.

We amplified the most important artists and albums on Optimism via our newsletter, Mirror & X posts.

We drove mints, volume, and users.

We educated the community about the Optimism Collective and helped position it as a forefront player in music.

We encouraged artists to mint their music and receive retroactive funding for their contributions to Optimism.

Through our Mirror, we drove hundreds of mints to Optimism, we have 12K subscribers and 2.3K Invest in Music pass holders.

The Onchain Curator Program drove 370 mints, 0.67 ETH volume, and onboarded five artists, creating great content every step of the way.

We believe that if you want to go fast, you should go alone, and if you wanna go far, you should go together.

In the coming months, we will continue to run our Onchain Curator Program.

We will cover the results of the retro and its impact on Onchain Music at large.

And we will continue to help onchain music grow on @optimismFND, @BuildOnBase, and @ourZORA network.
