Who’s going to crack the code?
We’ve come a long way - but we’re far from the finish line.
The market is ready for a new chapter. Or at least I think it is.
There’s a lot of conversation about open editions and 1/1s this week.
Wherever you land, it feels like the Music NFT community is prone to see a new playbook in the weeks to come.
Think about it. If you want to unlock collecting at scale - we need to build audiences.
But the reality is, we’re all still learning what that means.
It’s no surprise that there’s room for improvement when it comes to platforms like Spotify, TikTok and Instagram.
But how do you thread the needle?
How do you build a fanbase and make collecting an integral part of the process?
These are the questions I’m asking myself - and it feels like everyday we get closer.
That’s part of the reason why I’m hosting a Web3 Manager Launchpad - to help emerging managers build this foundation from the ground up.
If you’re reading this, you’re exactly who I’m talking about.
Web3 is a net-new ballpark.
Artists need help managing their communities. They need help reaching out to collectors. Vetting partnership offers. Strategizing game plans.
And that’s what web3 managers are for.
If this sounds interesting, apply here.
The cohort will be selected this week with sessions starting next week.
Here’s what to watch in the meantime.
