Minting behaviors are changing.
High stigmas around “dropping” Music NFTs are shifting as more artists are minting with less pressure.
The most concrete examples are free and affordable mints on Zora’s new edition platform - highlighted by artists like Mija, Reo Cragun, Peter Saputo and Alec King.
In a market where liquidity is scarce, getting more collectors on board at lower price points is more important than finding someone willing to shell out a couple ETH.
Paired with growing usage around new Music NFT players like Spinamp we’re slowly starting to see organic discovery come into the fold.
With that said - this summer is shaping up to be a pivotal moment for some of the spaces biggest players.
