Music NFT Summer is coming.
Despite a violent week in the wider crypto market, Music NFT projects are gearing up for their most ambitious mints to date.
Over the course of the next few weeks, we’re going to start to see if Music NFTs really have what it takes to weather a turbulent market.
I took to Twitter to find out - what will it take for the everyday NFT buyer to give Music NFTs a shot?
The most well-received answer? Visibility.
In the same way we put our avatar NFT as our profile picture on Twitter, Music NFTs are still lacking that same experience.
Music players are starting to come along, but we’ve still got a ways to go before the way to “flex” your Music NFT takes form.
Until then - be on the lookout for a suite of Music NFT Twitter spaces.
I’ll be speaking with DCLBlogger today, Afterparty on Wednesday and Fhoto and Friends on Friday.
The topic of conversation? You guessed it.
Music NFTs.
The web3-native artist project RŌHKI is gearing up for their debut single next Monday - May 16th.
The outer-worldly duo between IO and Hachi has been the subject of conversation since selling out their Genesis Key in less than an hour after a stealth launch.
One pass through rohki.xyz and it’s clear that the caliber or time, care and attention going into the project rivals anything the Music NFT sector has seen thus far.
With a fully immersive music video set to break the first episode - Desperado - this project is definitely worth paying close attention to in the coming weeks.
Water & Music shares 51 slides on Music NFT sales.
Sound shares a new drop mechanic to better gauge collector demand.
RAC and David Greenstein join Unchained for a chat on Music NFTs
SoundMint shares Kaien Cruz and SomeHoodlum as their second drop.
Beat Foundry announces Daniel Allan as their next artist.
[Suhail] - Broken Record Deals
[BlockchainBrett] - Potential for Music NFTs
[Kabuki] - Music NFT Discovery
[Reo Cragun] - Web3 Artist Journey
