The Young Science and Technology (YST) is a newly launched programme of dialogue among young scientists from the media. The programme invites young researchers from around the world to discuss topical science and technology issues, with a view to promoting understanding among young people worldwide and working together to build a better Earth home.
During this year’s World Immunization Week (24-30 April), we invited four guests from different fields to explore how to prevent the next pandemic of infectious diseases, including vaccine research and development, how to prevent infectious diseases by mid-career, international scientific cooperation and guidelines for personal protection.
Throughout history, the struggle against infectious diseases has never stopped. The new coronary epidemic in recent years has once again raised awareness of how fragile humanity is in the face of the pandemic.
