On only the second day of the ceasefire [January 20, 2025], less than 24 hours in, "Israeli forces have shot and killed a Palestinian child and another civilian in the Gaza Strip, in violation of the recent ceasefire deal...". As reported by Middle East Monitor:

"On Monday, an Israeli sniper was seen shooting and killing a Palestinian child as he was returning to his home in the southern area of Rafah. The minor, identified as 15 year old Zakaria Humaid Yahya Barbakh, was shot multiple times before succumbing to his wounds. The Israeli sniper then targeted a man who attempted to help the Palestinian child, with video footage circulating online showing the man also being shot multiple times. He sustained injuries which he has reportedly not yet succumbed to."
