Cryptography🔐: The Backbone of Blockchain
Welcome to this blog ✍️ !! Cryptography is the secret sauce that powers blockchain technology, ensuring security, privacy, and integrity in the digital world. Let’s dive into the fascinating world of cryptography & it’s uses in blockchain technology ⤵️What is Cryptography❓Cryptography is the art and science of securing information by transforming it into an unreadable format. It ensures that only the intended recipient can decode and access the original information. This transformation is ach...

Build, Engage & Earn: Hunt Town Builder Grant V2 Explained !!
In the fast-paced world of Web3, innovation isn’t just about technology - it’s also about fostering communities that support builders and creators. Hunt Town, a pioneering decentralized builder guild, has been at the forefront of empowering Web3 developers through its Builder Grant program. Initially launched as a monthly grant system, the Builder Grant V1 rewarded the top three builders who received the most 👏 each month with Mini Building NFTs on Base Chain. The rewards are 100, 60, 40 Min...

Designing User-centric Interface🔥: BRB Bootcamp
I'm very excited🥳to write about the 7th session of #BRBBootcamp! Recently, I became part of an amazing web3 bootcamp, known as BRB Bootcamp. Want to know more about this boot camp? Welcome to this blog ✍️ !! Let’s deep dive into UI/UX & Design Principles ⤵️
Design principles are foundational guidelines that inform and shape the design process. They encompass a variety of considerations, such as usability, accessibility, and aesthetics, aiming to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. These principles draw from psychology to understand how users interact with interfaces, ensuring designs are user-centric and effective.
In the context of web3, where technology can be complex and unfamiliar, applying psychological design principles becomes crucial. Effective UI design can make decentralized applications (dApps) more approachable, reducing friction and enhancing user satisfaction. By understanding and leveraging these principles, designers can create interfaces that are not only functional but also delightful and easy to navigate.
Fitts's Law: The time required to move to a target area is a function of the distance to the target and the size of the target.
✅ Relevance: In web3 UI design, important actions such as signing transactions or navigating between sections should have large, easily accessible buttons. This minimizes the effort and time users spend on these tasks, improving efficiency.
💡 Takeaways: Ensure buttons are sufficiently large and placed within easy reach, with adequate spacing to prevent misclicks.
Hick's Law: The time it takes to make a decision increases with the number of choices presented.
✅ Relevance: Simplifying decision-making is critical in web3 environments where users might already be overwhelmed by the complexity of blockchain technology.
💡 Takeaways: Limit the number of options presented at any given time and break down complex processes into smaller, manageable steps.
Jakob's Law: Users spend most of their time on other sites, so they prefer your site to work the same way as all the other sites they already know.
✅ Relevance: Adopting familiar design patterns can reduce the learning curve for new users of web3 applications.
💡 Takeaways: Use standard design patterns for common tasks like login flows, navigation, and e-commerce functions to meet user expectations.
Miller's Law: The average person can hold about seven items (+/- 2) in their working memory.
✅ Relevance: Overloading users with information can lead to confusion and errors, particularly in the nuanced realm of web3.
💡 Takeaways: Break down information into bite-sized chunks and categorize it effectively to enhance comprehension and retention.
