God saw the night I almost gave up.
He did not miss it.
He saw the moment I sat on the floor, exhausted.
The tears nobody else did.
The preparations I made for a day I wouldn’t witness.
Listened to the prayer I didn’t have the strength to speak.
I thought the silence meant I was alone.
But in that quiet moment, the universe was moving.
The same God that parted seas and raised the dead was holding me together.
I didn’t feel him, but he never left.
I’m still here, not by accident, but because purpose held onto me when I couldn’t hold on to it.
God’s not finished.
That night wasn’t the end of my story.
