After 14 days of BUIDLing, the first-ever ETH Shanghai Hackathon yielded in 200 submissions with over 900 participants in total successfully, all of which were inseparable and innovative in their own ways.

MetaMail (metamail.ink) is the Web3 email provider. With MetaMail users use wallet/ENS as an email address, and sign/encrypt to ensure security. All those features are totally free. In EthShanghai, MetaMail uses the KNN3 Network for user recommendation and RSS3 for following relationships.

KNN3 provides a powerful yet easy-to-use service; The best part is that the recommendation algorithm is pluggable, and new recommendation methods can be used in the future as the project develops, or as the user prefers.

AddressInsight is a data interface and analysis platform for Ethereum addresses. The two main problems that AddressInsight solves are trust and readability. AddressInsight calculates a "Trust Score" for each address, based off a number of data point concerning their on-chain activities. This enables anyone to get a quick second opinion on someone they may be interacting with.

AddressInsight builds off KNN3 and RSS3 to make up the Interface Layer and part of the Analysis Layer, thus completing the stack. Of course, this is simplifying it to some degree, but it's a useful abstraction with which to think about how AddressInsight interacts with KNN3 and RSS3, and to understand where it fits into the overall efforts made by those technologies.

Building for the fundamental layer of the decentralized society, Proof of Soul is a permissionless Soundboud token issuance/attestation protocol that enables people to bring relationship on-chain.

Proof of Soul aims to provide a new way to resolve on-chain relationships, and we also create a new, non-transferable credential on-chain. This relationship can be integrated into DCP and open-sourced in the future, enabling future D/Apps, data researchers, and On-chain Campaigns.

Shorum is a platform where you can back a Web3 User and also share your profit with your backers, or we can call it an abstracted native Web3 Social payment channel. We utilize KNN3 Network to discover your on-chain relations to invite your potential backers.

KNN3 provided a graphql interface for you to query a number of users based on your relation search. It is interesting to see how those addresses returned by the query are related to you. Some have invested in the same project and some may have attended the same event that you may or not know.

Social-platform algorithm provides a unified market access standards and has automatic deployment. Developers can provide their own algorithm for the use of other developers, and update algorithms, maintenance, and other operations.

Based on the KNN3 graph database and some open algorithms, AM has established an open platform that allows users to choose algorithms independently. Thanks to KNN3's graphql interface, we implement a simple cross-item recommendation function. In the future, this feature can be considered as a front-end plugin, where users can achieve their different purposes by switching algorithms in the front-end.

Ozono app makes Web3 social discovery quick and easy with the ability to profile and answer questions about users/wallets, ENS, NFTs, and events. Individuals and organizations are going to be able to dive into Web3 social data and analyze it fast, in a structured and transparent way not seen before.

Building a straightforward and powerful analytical tool in such a few days is not easy, but the workshop, documentation, and support from KNN3 Network team was outstanding. Their GraphQL API is well designed, with powerful pagination and speed. It allowed us to use it with a lightweight and blazing fast GraphQL client such as urql to deliver insights at the speed the Web3 social data users require.
