The lockdown era weirdly was fun.
Clubs and festivals were closed.
But HΓR Berlin and DJs streaming from their plants-covered bedrooms filled the void. Those streams helped to keep our sanity and showed our unity. Ravers in Berlin, Detroit, Tel-Aviv, Kyiv, Moscow, and everywhere else danced peacefully in their kitchens (and not just at 7 am). Usually, they danced solo or in pairs. But they were all connected to the global scene that felt more united than ever before.
Then Covid ended. And wars started.
Clubs were open again. Regardless of what was happening in the world, the party went on.
Somehow, ravers (even not entirely sober) seemed more sane than the so-called normal people.
Looks like there is no more normal. Things are getting weird af, and often not in a good way.
Whatever, have you finished that cig? It's kinda cold. Let's go dance?
Let's bring Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect onchain. Bring the global techno party onchain.
The cool thing is that onchain we don't need to all listen to the same thing. Or even pick between several dancefloors. We don't need to worry about selling tickets and running a bar at a profit (totally BYOB).
True, most of us don't have Funktion One at home. But, hey, at least there is always enough space in front left!
I don't know, here is the general idea:
gather people who are into NFTs and techno or electronic music more broadly
find and share new producers, selectors, DJs, and other artists
mint tracks, mixes, and live sets as NFTs
We can then dig deeper into:
finding others who like things we do by looking at what they mint
supporting artists and creators through mint fees
building onchain music collections and memories (good for those damaged brains)
If you like this idea, mint this entry and subscribe.
See you onchain and on the dancefloor.
