Hello everyone. This is my first music newsletter. I created this newsletter because I wanted to share the music I listen to with you. If you're tired of listening to the same songs over and over, you can follow along. I hope you enjoy it. Happy listening.
Since this is my first list, I wanted to put my favorite song at the top. This song holds a very special place in my heart. My husband played it for me for the first time.
When I first heard this instrumental piano piece, I was transfixed. I must have replayed it at least 15 times, and I still listen to it today. It will remain my favorite song forever.
Şefiqe Axundova is an Azerbaijani composer and songwriter. She wrote the first opera in the East. Taleh Hacıev is her son and also a talented composer.
Haris Alexiou doesn't have a single bad song. She's one of the legends of Greek music. No need to say much more about her. Here's one of my favorite songs of hers, “ena fili,” for you all.
Malt, A perfect Turkish rock song I listened to a lot in high school. It describes the pain of separation and the difficulties of love.
The amazing song I happened to hear at the Georgian restaurant. The song speaks to someone going through difficult times: it confronts deep human emotions such as loneliness, uncertainty, and fear of death.
Junko Yagami's incredible voice on Night Tempo's groove mix. Please listen at full volume. Get up and dance.
Iran, this list wouldn't be complete without the birthplace of music.
We've reached the end of our first newsletter. I'd be thrilled if this newsletter helped you discover new music.
