The week of Bright Moments Paris.

Writing - my preferred form of reflection. In the context of intense IRL events, I consistently write short notes during the day and then revisit them to put together in a long(er) form text. This practice helps to remember details, filter important things, preserve and revisit memories.

I've also been thinking for a while about an idea from the 'The Anthology of Balaji' book regarding the links between URL and IRL events.

But how to make this fun? Thanks to the teams who built intensely during the last cycle, we now have new tools to play around with: Farcaster frames, everything Base, Zora, Interface, Gallery, XMTP. Consider this post an onchain memory snapshot and an unhinged experiment of web3-native distribution.

Farcaster Community Meetup in Paris, Feb 20

Can we call it a FarCon pre-party if more than 100 people showed up? It was an evening full of art, good vibes, conversations, new connections, and friendships; supported by Bright Moments, Base, SuperChief Gallery, Purple DAO, and the local community.

Reflection
"Farcaster is a community, not just a utility." - said @dwr.eth during his Network State Conference speech in November. Fully felt the meaning of this phrase in the morning after the meetup. Original cast with a long list of gratitude.

For the first time in my life, it feels like I've relived someone else's memory—a deeply personal and sacred experience—without even speaking the same language. You're getting access to someone's imagination without any verbal expressions. That experience made me really emotional.

Experiences

CryptoCitizens - an ongoing generative portrait collection of 10000 NFTs, minting in cities around the world. Each one is an equal member of the Bright Moments DAO. The collection will be complete on 04/20/24 when the 10000th CryptoCitizen is minted in Venice, Italy.
Note: Paris was the last stop before Venice.

Bright Moments are known for creating magic around their minting experiences—a dark, small room, friends around, turning the key, French music, and... voilà! You're part of the cult DAO.

AGORIA {Le code d’Orsay} · La soirée DJ set
The Night at the Museum, but in a web3 way. As a museum rat, I've spent hours at the Musée d'Orsay, surrounded by Impressionists, but never before shared a dance floor with sculptures. A truly historical DJ set by Agoria. Big respect to the Musée d'Orsay for taking the risk of innovating on such a grand scale.
