Perps v2 is coming out of alpha. Are you curious what’s happening with v1? Want to know how to access v2? Need the scoop on trading rewards? We’ve got you covered with all the important details to get you started with lower fees, more markets, deeper liquidity, and much more.
Kwenta is proud to announce that Perps V2 is now the default trading experience for our users. With the improved V2 trade engine and the sunsetting of V1 Cross-Margin and Isolated markets, we are confident that you will find the new trading platform to be faster, more efficient, and more user-friendly.
If you're interested in trying out Perps V2, simply head over to https://kwenta.eth.limo/market/?asset=sETH.
As part of this transition, we advise all Kwenta users to close any open positions and withdraw from V1. It's important to note that open positions are not transferrable to V2. In addition, we will be lowering open interest caps in order to prevent the opening of new positions. Funding rates may also become volatile during this time.

Starting on Tuesday, February 14th at 23:59 UTC, Kwenta trading rewards will move exclusively to V2. To qualify for these rewards, you must stake $KWENTA.
On the other hand, $OP trading rewards will not require staking $KWENTA. The details of these programs are currently being discussed in Synthetix and Kwenta DAO governance channels, and millions of $OP will be distributed directly to traders. Keep an eye out for updates and details on dates and distribution.
Perps v2 was built different from the ground up to improve the overall user experience. Due to these changes, we’re building an all new system to manage your margin and positions, place advanced orders, and much, much more.
By combining some innovative new ideas with user feedback, Kwenta will be testing this new v2 implementation in the coming weeks. We’re laser focused on delivering the best perps trading UX ever conceived. Stay tuned for more information on progress, new features, or additional opportunities for testing and feedback.
