As much as I would love to vibe on Warpcast all day, it's just not realistic.
As it is, I put 2-3 hours daily into the app, posting, replying to other people, and replying to my replies. It's honestly kind of a lot some days.
When I first got serious about Warpcast back in April 2024, I was manually posting all of my casts. I would try to remember which channels I had or had not posted in for the day, searched through my photo archives for the perfect piece to post, and then tried to remember which channel I wanted to post in without getting distracted by notifications and IRL demands.
I was spending way too much of my day just trying to figure out what and where to cast, and not nearly enough time focusing on reading and interacting with the casts of others, so I can up with a system.
Today's post will go over the first step; Building a Content Calendar in Google Sheets.
To build my content calendar, I created a new Google sheets. You can access a read only copy here that you can copy and paste into your own spreadsheet.
I usually wake up around 7:15 am, and I stop looking at screens around 9 pm. I only want my casts to post on the platform during the hours that I am likely to reply to anyone who interacts meaningfully with my casts.
I settled on scheduling casts to post every 30 minutes between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
This creates 24 scheduled casts throughout each day.
I identified 4 categories of channels that I want to post in regularly.
Channels that Offer Frequent Rounds Rewards - these are Warpcast channels that often offer rewards for casting via Rounds:
Channels for Tipping Protocols - these are channels for the major tipping coins that I tip and try to earn. I plan one high-quality post per day, usually relevant art, for each of the tipping protocols that I participate in:
Culture Channels - these are channels that I genuinely enjoy casting in for the culture. Mine are mostly art channels.
My Channels - I run 4 channels on Warpcast and I make sure to post in each of them at least once per day.
In column C, I put the type of content that tends to perform best in each of the channels that I plan to post in.
Usually, I am posting photography, but sometimes a specific frame does better, or text, or a Rounds casting challenge demands that I include a specific hashtag or phrase.
For each of my daily channels, I have a specific plan as to what type of content I am going to post.
I use Yup! to batch schedule the casts in these channels. In my next Paragraph article, I will go over a step-by-step guide to scheduling posts with Yup.
I have divided my 24 scheduled casts into the 5 weekdays, so that I do not have to do anything on the weekends if I do not want to.
I personally start with the earlier in the day posts on Mondays, and post later in the day, later in the week. This way, if I get busy, and fall behind by a day, I have more time to catch up and schedule the casts the next day.
So looking at the example above, on Mondays, I schedule one cast per day into NFTartwithLauren, Flora, Masks, Wanderlust, and Powerfeed.
I schedule all my casts for the next batch of channels on Tuesdays, and so on and so forth.
I found doing it all in one sitting to be way too tedious, so I came up with this system instead.
Once I have my group of casts to schedule, I go through my photo archives, frames, or links and schedule one post per day.
I check off that I have scheduled a post on that day as I go, so that I do not lose track.
And that's it! If you have gone through this process with me, you should have your own personalized Warpcast content calendar!
Evaluate Your Channel List Weekly: I spend time each Monday, checking Rounds for new bounties, and evaluating which channels resulted in the most meaningful engagement for me during the previous week. If a channel is no longer working for me, I replace it with something new that I have been enjoying.
Use Your Extra Time To Be a Replyguy: The point of this calendar is to make sure that I have a strong presence in communities that I care about. But casting regularly into channels is only half of the battle. You also need to spend time going into those channels and interacting with awesome content posted by others. I schedule my casts to free my Warpcast brain from a self-focus to an others-focus.
Continue Posting Organically: Sure, I schedule my art posts, but if a thought pops into my head that I want to cast, I cast it. When I snap a new pic and want to share it right away, I do! A content calendar should not replace ALL of your casting. Instead, it should be a tool to ensure that you are a daily presence in your favorite community channels.
My Warpcast Content Calendar saves me time and sanity. Feel free to steal my spreadsheet, and swap it out for whichever channels and content matters most to you!
If you found this helpful, consider minting this Paragraph post, or heading over to my Warpcast profile and dropping some of your favorite tipping coin on my recent posts.
Happy Casting!

Omg you are so organised. I salute you. I just get high and shitpost 🤣
I was spending way too much time scrolling through my huge back catalog to figure out what to post each day. Now I dedicate the last Sunday morning of the month to scheduling all of my art casts for the next month. It helps me remember what I have and haven't posted recently and ensures more of pieces see the light of day.
Your post was actually really eye opening for me. Social media has always just been a hobby for me, I don't sell anything and aside from enjoying making some degen etc I don't put much thought and effort into it. I forget that for so many social media is a career or a means to furthering their other pursuits such as arts etc. Do you enjoy being here or do you view Farcaster as part of your working day?
I gotta study this :) 🍖x125 100 $Aba 60👏
