It may be that you really enjoy a show (or two) on Netflix and tend to binge watch until the series is finished. Lots of folks do that, you’re not alone.
But is that binging balanced by healthy habits, like walking, jogging, swimming, yoga or stretching? Maybe not. Please read on, maybe I can convince you to start :-)
Why Should you do any Exercise? Exercise, of any kind, gets your blood moving. Your lungs work more too. When the lungs pass off oxygen to the blood, which is flowing better, you have more energy in your whole body and your brain will thank you for the ‘extra breath of fresh air’.
The pleasant fact is that the more you exercise, the easier it becomes.
Being in Shape Helps Fight Illness and Injuries So many things fall into place when you exercise:
Lower bad cholesterol
Raise good cholesterol
Lower blood pressure
Reduces chance of heart disease
Less muscles, tendon, and ligament injuries
Helps control your weight
Improves your mood
Reduce anxiety and depression
Improve joint pain
Increase life span
The list goes on and on.
How Should you Start your Exercise Program?
The answer is simple: SLOWLY Many people try to do too much, too soon. They become discouraged because so many things hurt.
Be careful to avoid injury It is perfectly normal to have this reaction. Your poor body that hurts all over is telling you to go slowly. Listen to your body.
Stretching is always good, just don’t over do it! When you start with simple exercises and/or stretching. You will see that each day, step by step, your body can take more and more. When you feel (and see) this progress, it gives you an extra push to keep going and make even more progress.

The other part of the question, which exercise should you do?. Easy: Do the ones that you feel like doing, otherwise you won’t continue. Just get out there and do it, whatever it is, as often as you feel comfortable with.
Like I said before, the more you do it, the easier (and more pleasurable it is because it produces more dopamine and serotonin) it becomes!
Dopamine and Serotonin brings good feelings Don’t Worry, you can still Binge Watch Your priorities may change, but having some down time is also important for your psyche and your body. I can say, from personal experience, that I have never felt better or had more energy than when I was in great shape. You will feel great too, I know it!
