To pay the transaction fees on the “Battle for the Lands” Testnet you would need a little ETH in the Rinkeby test network. Don’t get confused with many technical terms — all you need to know is that Rinkeby is the test network and you get the ETH for free.

In this guide, we will explain how to get the test ETH in just 2 minutes. 👇

Click on the network selection dropdown menu.

Most likely, test networks are hidden by default in your wallet. Click “Show/hide test networks” and then select “ON” in the “Show test networks” setting.

You will now see the popular test networks in the dropdown menu. Select Rinkeby Test Network.

You are now connected to the Rinkeby network. Now its time to get that test ETH!

First, click on your wallet number to copy it.

Then to the https://rinkebyfaucet.com/ page, enter your wallet address and click “Send me ETH”. You will soon receive 0.1 ETH.

You can repeat it daily, but 0.1–0.5 ETH should be enough for the whole Testnet.

If you want more than 0.1 ETH, you can sign up to Alchemy and you will be able to get 0.5 ETH daily.

HINT: No need to create the team account. You can just log in through Google and come back to the page to get 0.5 ETH.
