Geth

LXDAO is an R&D-focused DAO in Web3 ❤️
Website | Twitter | Telegram | Forum
Dear LXDAO community! Welcome to our 104th weekly report.
Punkcan: I got to know LXDAO through Bruce's Twitter. At that time, I was looking for a project focused on building Web3 rather than just being profit-oriented. I believe that although Web3 has been developing for more than ten years, it is still in its infancy. I hope to see more new users seamlessly integrate into it. I have some programming skills, and in the past, I mainly worked in data analysis and logistics, such as analyzing negotiation strategies. I am currently working as an operations vice president at a company.
Fileem: Hello everyone, I learned about LXDAO through discussions with our design team. After our initial communication, I became very interested in this organization, so I joined today's weekly meeting. Nice to meet you all. I am currently a product designer with not many years of experience. I am just starting to learn about Web3 and hope to explore more.
ZhaoHong: Hello everyone, I registered and joined LXDAO last week. I have a general understanding of it this week and noticed that there are some projects preparing to start due to the recent re-election. I have ten years of Web2 development experience, having worked on both front-end and back-end. Recently, I started learning about Web3 and smart contract development, hoping to participate in some related projects.
Xboring: Hello, I am currently working at a CEX, mainly responsible for back-end development and have been in charge of some products from 0 to 1. I came across LXDAO a long time ago but never had the chance to really participate. I am very interested in the concept of public goods and found some projects quite interesting. I hope to participate more in the future, and I would appreciate your guidance.
Lllu: Hello everyone, I am lllu, a contract developer and a prominent contributor to Conflux, participating in the translation of their official technical documentation. Additionally, I am a Bilibili UP master, mainly sharing and reposting blockchain development knowledge and tutorials. I learned about LXDAO through a friend from SeeDAO, who mentioned that the development atmosphere here is more intense. Currently, I am learning zero-knowledge proofs and the underlying knowledge of public chain development. If you have any related learning materials or insights, please feel free to share them with me.
Gu Yi: Hello everyone, I joined the crypto world at the end of 2017. During the pandemic, I returned to Shandong and joined an official institution to work on alliance chains, but in my spare time, I have been involved in public chains. I have served as a rookie mentor for one term and a governance member for three terms at SeeDAO. I joined LXDAO because I followed the WeChat public account and participated in an offline event in Shanghai, which I found quite interesting. Currently, I am working on a Web3 project in cooperation with the Nantang Cooperative. I hope to use Web3 or DAO to transform Nantang. If you are interested, please feel free to contact me.
We are delighted to have new friends join the community, congratulations on them officially becoming members of the LXDAO community and obtaining their first Badge!
Once a community member’s contribution reaches 500 contribution points, the Governance Group will automatically initiate a proposal for the issuance of a Buidler Card. Holding an LXDAO Buidler Card grants the holder the right to propose and vote on proposals, as well as access to LXDAO community’s financial, technical, and manpower support!
We cordially invite you to participate in the LXDAO’s weekly meeting at 2:00 a.m. (UTC) every Saturday.

Here, you can grasp the latest progress of various projects and working groups in the community, and learn about recruitment and bounty needs. Meanwhile, we welcome you to introduce yourself in the weekly meeting, which will help you integrate into our community more quickly.
Here are the key discussion topic for this week's LXDAO weekly meeting:
Sharing and Discussion on the LXDAO Core Roadmap
At the recent S9 Strategy Meeting, Bruce proposed the concept of the LXDAO Core Roadmap, aimed at addressing the community's lack of long-term planning. Bruce believes that LXDAO needs a core roadmap to guide its development for the next few decades. He envisions LXDAO as a Web3 technology and open-source DAO model organization composed of idealistic and long-term-oriented builders. He proposed three development phases: the first phase (2022-2025) focuses on solving the sustainability of public goods and open source; the second phase (2025-2028) aims to build and maintain excellent public goods; the third phase (2028-2050) envisions creating a continuously prosperous new world. Bruce also detailed LXDAO as part of the cyber new world, including governance models, educational infrastructure, and collaboration infrastructure. He emphasized attracting top talent through a free environment, security and privacy protection, and decentralized operational architecture to drive innovation and industry disruption. This core roadmap will help LXDAO focus on key projects, better allocate resources, and achieve long-term goals.
Proposal to Establish a Translation and Writing Virtual Team
Tiao proposed establishing a Translation and Writing Virtual Team (Wild Conscience) on the LXDAO forum. The goal is to stimulate community creativity and discussion through high-quality translations and original writing. Tiao believes that words and code are equally important, as they express the meaning of projects and inspire new ideas. The team will produce weekly translations related to public goods and blockchain technology and create original articles on recent hot topics. Topics include Ethereum governance, public goods, and DAO governance. The team will validate and refine its operating model during LXDAO S9, aiming to create a positive impact through high-quality content, stimulate community discussion, and increase LXDAO's visibility in the international community.
Debard proposed the "Developer Activation Program" on the LXDAO forum to stimulate the enthusiasm of developers within the community and promote the creation of more community projects. The plan includes five steps:
Preliminary Preparation and Information Gathering: Collect developer lists, tech stacks, available time, and team expectations. Gather hackathon information and maintain developer relationships.
Formation of Development Teams: Actively connect developers to form teams, provide small support funds, and secure special funds through BD contacts with partners.
Hackathon Team Formation: Recommend developers to participate in hackathons based on small project prototypes, competing as LXDAO hackathon teams to increase brand exposure and attract new developers.
Organizing LXDAO Hackathons: Co-host or participate in online and offline hackathons with partners, promoting public goods hackathons.
Cultivating Output Capability of Mature Projects: Produce more impactful public goods projects, enabling LXDAO developer teams to meet ecosystem project needs and build mature projects.
This plan aims to enhance the development vitality of LXDAO and the sustainability of community projects by incentivizing developers and promoting teamwork.
The latest member recruitment, task bounties, and partner talent recruitment at LXDAO will be presented on the Bounty Board. By following the Bounty Board, you can quickly access detailed job information, including specific requirements, desired qualifications, and incentive mechanisms.
