Geth

Dear LXDAO community friends! Welcome to our 110th weekly report.
Don: Hello everyone, I’m excited to join LXDAO. I'm a product manager with many years of experience in the Web2 industry, where I worked on user growth for products with tens of millions of daily active users. I am very interested in the new narratives of the Web3 industry and have a builder mindset. A friend told me that LXDAO is involved in foundational work, which I found particularly intriguing. So, I hope to join in and participate in discussions and co-creation with everyone. I have extensive experience in growth and product management, so if anyone needs help with their projects, feel free to reach out to me. I look forward to exchanging ideas and learning from everyone. Thank you.
JeremyZ: Hello everyone, my name is Jeremy, and I'm thrilled to join LXDAO. I recently graduated and previously worked in some blockchain associations in Beijing, focusing mainly on front-end and contract development. I am currently looking for job opportunities and hope to find more opportunities through joining LXDAO. I'm very eager to collaborate and share ideas with everyone to advance blockchain projects. Thank you.
Tommy: Hi everyone, I'm Tommy. I've been following LXDAO for a long time and recently registered an account on the website and joined the group meeting this Saturday. I'm currently working in a company in Shanghai, not in the Web3 space, but I’m very interested in Web3. I used to do backend development and now also have some experience in smart contract development (Solidity). I'm working full-time but have free time on weekends and am eager to communicate with everyone. I have a plan to create a mutual aid platform for information, aiming to build a highly trustworthy community to help people with life's decisions. I hope to find like-minded partners here to realize this vision together. Thank you.
Bai Qi: Hello everyone, I'm Bai Qi, a backend developer. My main programming languages are Golang, Java, and Solidity. I'm working on some small projects on the OP chain and look forward to your support in the future.
We are delighted to have new friends join the community, congratulations on them officially becoming members of the LXDAO community and obtaining their first Badge!
Once a community member’s contribution reaches 500 contribution points, the Governance Group will automatically initiate a proposal for the issuance of a Buidler Card. Here are the key discussion topic for this week's LXDAO weekly meeting:
Restarting the LXDAO Narrative Study Sessions
Connie has posted an idea on the forum to launch "Conscience Tea Talks" to revisit and explore the narrative of LXDAO. She believes that while everyone has a unique perspective on LXDAO, there is a consensus that it is a "conscientious" DAO, distinguishing it from other organizations. By crafting an "LX" narrative, the community can strengthen identity recognition, provide direction for long-term strategy, and attract like-minded talent.
Previous narrative study sessions have engaged members, covering diverse topics. In the future, she hopes for more systematic discussions to clarify the core values, historical background, and development direction of LXDAO, aiming to establish a cohesive narrative framework. This narrative would serve as a key component for international promotion.
Connie proposes a series of discussions on values of "conscience," historical context, contemporary features, development goals, and governance models. These discussions aim to build consensus and eventually complete an LXDAO white paper. This process is expected to enhance community cohesion and external credibility.
Bruce initiated a brainstorming discussion on the forum about LXDAO's content sharing for Devcon. For this presentation, Cikey proposed two themes:
Innovative DAO Governance: LXDAO's Practice Model
Theme Description: This theme explores LXDAO's innovative methods in implementing DAO governance, including voting governance, multi-signature treasury management (main treasury and subgroup treasuries), and addressing the sustainability of open-source projects and public goods through the DAO model.
Relevance Analysis: This theme closely relates to the core protocols and governance structures of Ethereum, showcasing how DAOs can leverage smart contracts and decentralized features to enhance community governance and project support.
Building a Decentralized Future: LXDAO's Cyber Socialism Exploration
Theme Description: This presentation would discuss how LXDAO integrates cyber socialism principles into its exploration of decentralized infrastructure, including education, collaboration, donations, and sustainable revenue models. It also explores how these practices contribute to the development of the Ethereum ecosystem.
Relevance Analysis: This theme aligns with Ethereum's long-term vision of building a decentralized, self-sustaining ecosystem, while emphasizing innovations in social and economic models.
The latest member recruitment, task bounties, and partner talent recruitment at LXDAO will be presented on the Bounty Board. By following the Bounty Board, you can quickly access detailed job information, including specific requirements, desired qualifications, and incentive mechanisms.
