Swapping tokens on Velodrome offers seamless access to the Superchain ecosystem, allowing you to exchange assets across multiple blockchains. This guide will take you through each step, ensuring a smooth swapping experience on Velodrome.

What you need:
Connected wallet (see my article “Connect your wallet on Velodrome” if needed).
Tokens on your wallet to swap.
How to Swap on Velodrome:
1)Access the Swap feature: visit velodrome.finance, navigate to the top bar and select “Swap”.

2)Choose your token to swap from:
Use the dropdown menu to select the token you want to swap.

As Velodrome operates as the hub within the Superchain, you will also need to choose the blockchain where your selected token is held.

3)Choose your destination token:
After selecting the initial token, use the dropdown menu below to select the token you wish to receive.

Similarly, select the blockchain for the second token.
4)Enter the Swap Amount: you have several options for entering the amount:

Maximum amount: click on “MAX” to use the full balance.
Percentage buttons: use the preset % options (10-25-50-75-100%).
Manually entry: type the exact amount you wish to swap.
5)Adjust slippage and review swap fees:
On the right side, you will see an “Adjust” option for slippage tolerance.

Consider the swap fee for the pool displayed in the liquidity routing box below.
6)Allow Velodrome to Access Tokens by signing the transaction in your wallet.

7)Complete the swap: with permissions enabled, click the “Swap” button and confirm the transaction in your wallet. Your swap will finalize shortly.
