When AI no longer merely assists intelligence but begins to perform it, education is forced to confront a deeper question:
What kind of humans should we cultivate in a world where “thinking” itself can be outsourced?
This essay proposes a new educational paradigm—Cognitive Fitness and Co-Thinking—grounded in cognitive science, philosophy of technology, and humanistic ethics.
Rather than framing AI as a threat or a neutral tool, we argue that it should be understood as a cognitive prosthesis and a dialogical partner, capable of sharpening uniquely human capacities.
The ultimate aim is to cultivate neuro-sovereign individuals—people who remain lucid, critical, and creative in a technologically saturated society—and to prepare an ethical foundation for a future in which we may need to engage in cross-subjective dialogue with non-human intelligences.
This is not an article about whether AI belongs in classrooms.
That question is already obsolete.
The real question is whether education will produce system-adapted operators, or system-aware subjects capable of reflection, resistance, and co-evolution.
Traditional narratives of educational crisis focus on information explosion and learning efficiency.
In the age of large language models, the crisis has shifted.
When AI can write essays, generate code, and produce art at human level, educational systems built around output lose their meaning.
This is not merely an assessment problem—it is a crisis in how society defines human intelligence itself.

Attention becomes commodified, guided, enclosed.
