The Chapel of Nossa Senhora de Fátima is located in Alto das Feteiras, in the parish of São Pedro, in the municipality of Vila do Porto, on the island of Santa Maria, in the Azores.

It was the first hermitage, after the Little Chapel of the Apparitions in Cova da Iria, to be built under the invocation of Our Lady of Fátima outside the Diocese of Leiria.
History
This temple was built on the initiative of Father Virgínio Lopes Tavares, when he was parish priest of the parish of São Pedro. Authorization for its construction was requested on June 11, 1924 and, on October 18, 1925, the first stone was blessed, a solemn act presided over by the ecclesiastical Ombudsman, Father Mariano do Nascimento Moura.

In March 1928, a canonical visit was requested, which took place the following month. On the 1st of May of that same year, the image of the patron saint was blessed in the Mother Church of Vila do Porto, being taken, in procession, to the Church of São Pedro, from where it only left on the 17th of the same month due to the bad weather that was felt at the time. On the 17th, the hermitage was consecrated.
On July 13 of the same year, António Lopes Tavares' suggestion for the construction of a staircase that alluded to the Holy Rosary was studied, with 150 steps representing each one of the Rosary beads (a "Hail Mary") with ten levels, representing each of the Mysteries of the Rosary (a "Our Father"). Once the suggestion was approved, a public subscription was opened, for which 150 subscribers competed, each responsible for the cost of one of the steps. The project was by Álvaro Fernandes Serpa. On October 13, 1929, the first stone was laid, and the work was inaugurated on July 11, 1933, when the Eucharistic Blessing was granted from its height by the then Bishop of Angra, D. Guilherme Augusto Inácio de Cunha Guimarães.
In 1942, a tombstone commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Apparitions of Fatima (May 13, 1917) was placed in the hermitage.
In 2007-2008 it was restored, as well as the image of the Lady, with resources from the community.
Patroness Day is celebrated annually on May 13.
