The Church of São Lourenço is a 16th century temple. XVI, with a very simple exterior, exemplifying a sober style common in a rural environment. Over the centuries, some architectural and decorative changes were made, especially after the 1755 earthquake.

The interior is lined with tile panels from the 17th century. XVIII, representing religious scenes from the Old Testament. One of the panels still dating from the 17th century stands out. XVI, probably belonging to the original decoration. On the side walls, two panels with scenes from the life of São Lourenço, the patron saint of the church, from the 17th century. XVII.

Noteworthy is the decoration of the chancel with the altar in polychrome marble, from the Serra da Arrábida, and the gilded altarpiece from the 17th century, with a canvas representing the Last Supper.
