On January 25, 1992, in a ceremony presided over by the Bishop, the first stone was laid, marking the beginning of the construction of the new temple. The architectural work of the Church of São Paulo is due to Arq. Fernando Zigler. The Church itself has an area with a capacity of 340 seats; 1425m2 of built area; construction took 291 days.
