The Church of Corpo Santo is located in the square with the same name, in the Lisbon parish of São Paulo, next to Cais do Sodré.

The church, dating from the 18th century, has unusual characteristics for what is often found in national religious architecture. The octagonal shaped nave inscribed in a rectangle gives the space the meaning of a perfect symbol.
The hemispherical dome is topped by a lantern, a solution generally adopted to let in more light, perhaps not necessary in a small space, which explains the uniqueness of the temple.
On the imposing facade we can find a triangular pediment on whose tympanum you can see the symbol of the Irish Dominican Order with the triple pilasters.
