At the north entrance, on both sides, there are two other panels by Rosa Rodrigues, with images of the city, dating from 1944.

In addition to seafood, at the site, which has 132 stalls and 44 stores, it is also possible to buy vegetables, fruits, herbs and regional products; such as wine, honey and various types of bread. It is with these ingredients that some of the best restaurants in Setúbal, Lisbon and Cascais prepare their dishes.
The interior was completely refurbished after renovation works on the facilities carried out between 2010 and 2011.
Noteworthy are the tile panels inside, depicting the various economic activities in the city, by the Portuguese engraver and painter Pedro Pinto, dating from 1929.
