Por mais curta que seja a caminhada pelo bairro da Alfama, você certamente passará em frente ao animado Miradouro de Santa Luzia. Por ali, junto ao jardim e aos pergolados, reúnem-se artistas e um considerável público no fim de tarde.
O local, por si só, já é agradável: tem flores, azulejos coloridos e lugares para se sentar. Mas o que faz de um miradouro um lugar especial, sabemos, é a vista. Quanto a isso, não há do que reclamar: dali é possível admirar o mar de telhados vermelhos da Alfama até chegar às margens do Tejo, na região do novo Cais de Cruzeiros.
O Miradouro de Santa Luzia fica pertinho de outro terraço com vista para a cidade: o Miradouro das Portas do Sol. Vale a pena combinar os dois mirantes no mesmo passeio.
