I am trained as a lawyer, but Web3 is really my passion. Have been for 8 years.
I help companies think through go-to-market strategies, build up partner network, and cultivate a grass-root ecosystem. I get a high from speaking at conferences to spread the Web3 philosophy and the "money 2.0 mindset", and interviewing Thought Leaders on their visions for the future. I love what I do.
I'm also a single mom to the most incredible human being. He's 4 now. I love him more than my work. It wasn't easy to stay ahead in a fast-paced industry while caring for a newborn, but my parents were incredibly supportive, and I'm proud I made it work.
Being a female in Web3 is also interesting. When I first started, I'm one of the 5 women in a room of 1000 men. My strength is I learn fast, and I've been told I'm great at explaining new concepts. So I'm starting a blog.
My hope is to write often, because I have a lot of thoughts. Instead of dumping them in Apple Notes, by forcing them here in the daylight, maybe they'll be more crystallized.
Yes. Treating this like a public experiment of the evolution of my thoughts.
I'll be writing on these 3 topics:
Life wisdoms I've learned. Winning mindsets in business and in life.
Practical ways we can use the Web3 technology to improve lives. Ex. unlocking economic freedom (building a better financial system), and societal freedom (ex. a better healthcare system), and trust freedom / collaborative freedom (ex. if I support you to win something, when you win, I get to automatically share that win in a pre-agreed way). Who are the projects currently building and making a dent in the space?
On a broader societal level. How do we get involved in this movement from an individualistic-focused society to a more collaborative one, aka. pyramid → circle hierarchy? How can we build a 10,000x a better society? Who are the communities already building this, and how can we get involved?
The fact that there’s no one here yet, is a nice exhale.
