Mirror has launched a web3 subscription service. This new feature allows readers to subscribe to any Mirror publication with their wallets and receive email notifications when new content is released.
As a new Web3 communication protocol, Mail3 can provide a better experience to the subscription service.
Mail3 uses crypto wallet to authenticate users instead of password, once the user connects the wallet, the email address can be automatically generated with wallet address and domain names, such as 0xd8dA45@mail3.me and vitalik.eth@mail.me.
So users only need one wallet to switch between Mirror and Mail3, rather than registering for a Web2 email (e.g.Gmail). For the creators and readers, they can effectively reach each other and communicate freely via Mail3.
In the future, As user identity can be shaped by his/her on-chain behaviors (NFT, Token, social graph, TX, etc.) Mail3 will support users to filter their inbox based on a bunch of criteria including ownership of a specific NFT, possession of a Poap, membership in a given DAO, social connection in web3 or even a combination of the above in the future.

2. Enter your Mail3 address(e.g.mail3.eth@mail3.me) and click Continue.
3. The wallect will pop up and ask you to make a signature, click Sign.
4. Open Mail3 dApp and you will receive a verification email from hello@mirror.xyz, click and read.
5. Click Complete Verification button to verify.
6. Return Mirror to click Sign to Confirm botton and Confirm your subscription.
7. You’ll now receive Creator's updates via Mail3.
